Hello, I’m Claudia!

Welcome to my corner of the Internet! My name is Claudia Smith and I am excited to be here with you all. I am a wife, mom, ed tech teacher, and TpT Virtual Assistant.

Let me begin with the most important…my family! I am married to my high school sweetheart who is a high school history teacher. I am a mom to a 13 year old little man and 11 year old little lady. We enjoy spending our time traveling and camping with our travel trailer and swimming to endure the Desert heat.

My Teaching Experience

I have been in elementary education for 15 years. 14 of those years I spent in the classroom teaching 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade. It was an even split between 1st and 5th grade which has given me a lot of knowledge and experience with lower and upper grades. My heart is with the 5th graders.

Last school year I made a transition into a new role in my district as an elementary technology project facilitator (TOSA). I support 10 (out of 20) elementary schools with their integration of technology. I visit classrooms to support with coding, Google Workspace for Education, ClassVR trips, Lego for Education, and much more.

I consider myself a creative person who enjoys working with and helping others. Therefore, I have taken a leap and started my own small business as a TpT virtual assistant. Through product photos and video I can use my creativity by staging the products and editing the visuals (photo or video) to make the product shine. I also use my techy brain to digitize products in Google Workspace for Education products. This allows me to work with TpT sellers and help them by taking this task off their hands.
