Get Your TPT Store and Socials Ready for Back to School
I know I know, you don’t want to talk or even think about Back to School yet. I hear ya, I am also currently relishing in the awesomeness that is summer break. But hear me out, while we are enjoying our summer break there are other TPT sellers out there going through their stores and listings and assessing what needs to be updated and getting it done. So maybe you need to as well so that your store is ready for the Back to School sale and browsers who are ready to buy.
Picture this…buyers/teachers are starting to see Back to School countdowns and featured products on social media. They see something they like and click the link to view the resource but after looking through the images they still have questions about how the resource works and how it can benefit them. So they look for the preview video but uh oh, they don’t find one. Now what do these buyers do? They scroll on and look for another product that has clear product visuals and a video to show the resource in action.
Buyers want to be sure that the resource they are purchasing will be appropriate to use in their classroom with their students and if it’s what they are looking for. They want to know what the components of the resource are and how they are used. Is it a standard worksheet? Are there pieces that need to be cut out? Is it a digital resource?
Here is how you can grab the buyers’ attention and make them feel comfortable with their purchase…with product photographs and video.
Product photographs capture the product and all of its components. They can also show what the completed resource looks like. Photographs give the buyers the full image of the product and what to expect with their purchase. You can even include your brand logo and colors to make it unique to your business.
Product video allows your product to be shown in action. This will show the resource being used in real-time and give the buyer a full view into what they are purchasing.
Product photographs and videos don’t have to be used for just your TPT store but they can also be used for product or brand promotion on social media. The visuals are forever yours and you can use them however you feel is needed such as to promote your TPT store, socials, or resources.
